Privacy policy
Last updated: 7 September 2026
The short version. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no tracking scripts. Nothing is collected about you unless you choose to contact me or book a call, and then only what you send.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Data Controller: SourceCode
Address: Partida Benicolada 1-N, 03710, Calpe, Spain
Email: [email protected]
Telephone: +34 633 198 142
2. What this website collects
The website itself sets no cookies and includes no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts are served from this site's own server rather than a third party, so no request about you is made to an external font provider.
The web server keeps standard access logs containing your IP address, the pages requested, timestamps and your browser's user-agent string. These are used only to keep the site running securely and to diagnose faults, and are deleted on a rolling basis.
3. Data you choose to give me
- Email. If you email me, I hold your message and address in order to reply.
- WhatsApp. If you message me on WhatsApp, that conversation is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy terms as well as this one.
- Booking a call. The booking calendar on the Book a call page is provided by Microsoft Outlook Bookings and is embedded from
outlook.office.com. When it loads, Microsoft may set its own cookies and receive your IP address. Anything you enter to book — your name, email and any notes — is processed by Microsoft on my behalf and reaches me as a calendar booking. - Live demos. The demo previews on the Live demos page load pages from
watches.sourcecode.esandlux.sourcecode.es, both of which are mine.
4. Why I use it and on what legal basis
- To answer you and quote for work — steps taken at your request prior to a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To deliver services and manage the client relationship — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the site secure and working — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To meet accounting and tax obligations — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
I do not send marketing email, and there is no newsletter sign-up on this site.
5. Who else sees it
Only the providers needed to run the business: my email provider, the booking provider named above, my hosting provider, and my accountant for invoicing records. I do not sell personal data and I do not share it for advertising.
6. International transfers
The website is hosted within the EU. Some providers, including Microsoft, may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards permitted by Chapter V of the GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to two years. Client records and anything with an invoice attached are kept for as long as Spanish accounting and tax law requires. Server logs are kept for a short rolling period.
8. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to or restrict how it is used, or ask for it in a portable format. Email[email protected] and I will deal with it. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Spanish supervisory authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, kept patched, and no customer database runs on it — it is a set of static files, which removes most of the attack surface a conventional content management system carries.
10. Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children.
11. Cookies
This site sets none of its own. The only cookies that can appear are those set by Microsoft when the booking calendar is loaded on the Book a call page. If you never open that page, no cookies are set at all.
12. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be obvious rather than buried.
