For UK businesses
A British web developer, without the UK agency mark-up
I'm Wayne. I build WordPress sites and WooCommerce shops for businesses across the UK — from Spain, one hour ahead of you. Same standard of work, same language, no account manager in the middle, and roughly half my clients are already British.
- Same working daySpain is one hour ahead of the UK. A message at 9am UK reaches me at 10am, not overnight.
- British, English-nativeNo translation layer, no offshore agency account manager between you and the person building it.
- Roughly half UK clientsMost of my work is already for businesses in the UK. This is not a new market for me.
- Fixed quotesOne number in writing before anything starts, the same as for my Spanish clients.
Why this works
Distance is not the problem people expect it to be
The thing that goes wrong with web projects is almost never geography. It is a developer who stops replying, a quote that grows, or a site handed over that you cannot edit. Those happen just as easily in Manchester as in Madrid.
One hour, not one continent
Spain is CET, an hour ahead of UK time. Your morning is my morning. There is no overnight gap waiting for a reply, which is the actual problem with genuinely offshore development.
You deal with the person building it
No account manager relaying your requirements to somebody you never speak to. When you explain what you need, you are explaining it to the person who will write the code.
You own the result outright
Every login handed over, hosting in your name if you want it, and a site you can edit yourself. No proprietary platform you cannot leave and no hostage situation if you later want somebody else.
How it runs
From first call to live site
The practical details — invoicing, VAT, payments and what happens when something breaks — are on how working together actually works.
A call, at a time that suits you
Twenty minutes, free. UK hours are my hours give or take an hour, so booking is not the awkward part.
A fixed quote in writing
One number covering the whole job, in euros, with the scope written down. It does not move unless you change the scope.
Build, with the site on a live link
You watch it come together and comment as it goes. Feedback is expected, not billed as a change request.
Launch and handover
I handle the technical side, then show you how to run it and hand over every login. The site is yours outright.
Services
What I can do for a UK business
The same services as for my Spanish clients. All of it delivered remotely, none of it needing anyone to be in the same room.
WordPress Website Design
Custom WordPress sites built to load fast, say the right thing, and turn visitors into paying customers — not just look good on a screen.
From €400 →WooCommerce Development
Online shops built to sell. Clear product pages, a checkout that does not lose people, and a backend you can run without a manual.
From €6,500 →Website Maintenance
Updates, security checks and 24/7 uptime monitoring so your site stays protected and you are never caught out by something avoidable.
From €65/month →Speed Optimisation
A one-second delay costs real enquiries. I find what is actually slowing your site down and fix it — typically cutting load times in half.
From €150 →Local SEO
Clean page structure, proper indexing, titles and meta done right, and local search set up for the Costa Blanca. The groundwork to get found.
From €300 →Inherited a site from a developer who has gone quiet? That is a large part of what I do.
Trustpilot
What clients say about working with Wayne
Every review below is verified on Trustpilot. All of them are five stars.
After a series of bad experiences with other web developers, working with Wayne was a breath of fresh air. He is very responsive and completes work to a high standard. I would not hesitate to recommend SourceCode to anyone.
Wayne is my go-to developer. He is a genius with coding and everything technical. He will always find a way to make everything work seamlessly, no matter how complicated the request. We have worked together on multiple projects over the years.
Wayne built new websites for me after my old ones had been compromised, and worked around my budget. He was always available to take my calls, and the after-sales support has been incredible.
I have had several dealings with Wayne and SourceCode, all of which have been positive. Wayne is helpful, knowledgeable and gives a speedy response.

FAQs
What UK clients ask before getting in touch
If yours is not here, ask it on the call. You will get a straight answer, including when the answer is no.
5 questions
01How do I know you will still be there in six months?
Fair question, and the honest answer is that you check. I have public Trustpilot reviews going back years, client sites you can open right now, and I run two of my own SaaS products that are not going anywhere. I also hand over every login at the end of a build, so if I did disappear you would still own everything.
02What if something breaks and you are in another country?
Being in Spain makes no practical difference — I am one hour ahead of you and reachable on WhatsApp, email or a call. Every site I look after is monitored 24/7, which in practice means I usually know before you do. A developer forty minutes down the M1 who does not answer their phone is worse than one in Calpe who does.
03Is this just cheaper because it is offshore?
It is cheaper because there is no agency around me — no account manager, no sales team, no office in a city centre with a rent to cover. You are paying for the person doing the work rather than the four people between you and them. The standard of the work is the same as you would get from a good UK agency.
04Do we ever need to meet in person?
Almost never, and I would say the same about a developer in the next county. Everything runs on calls, screen-shares and messages. If you genuinely want to meet, I am in the UK periodically and it can usually be arranged.
05Can you work with our existing hosting and domain?
Yes. UK hosting, UK domain registrars, whatever you already have — I work with it rather than insisting you move. If your current setup is genuinely holding the site back I will say so, and explain why, but the decision stays yours.
