01How much does a website cost?
A one-page site starts at €400 and a typical multi-page business site is around €800. Larger custom builds start at €3,000. You get a fixed quote before any work begins, and the number doesn't move unless you change the scope.
02How long will it take?
Two to four weeks is typical from the point I have your content. The bottleneck is almost always text and photographs from your side, not the build itself.
03Do you use WordPress or a template?
Not for new builds. I design and build sites from scratch on modern, standard web technology, the same way sourcecode.es is built. They load faster, there are no plugins to keep patching, and hosting costs less. Nothing is proprietary either, so any competent developer can pick it up after me. If you already have a WordPress site, I still maintain, fix and speed those up.
04Can you redesign my existing site?
Yes, and I'll keep the URLs that are already earning you traffic. Changing page addresses during a redesign is the most common way businesses lose their Google rankings, and it's entirely avoidable.
05Who hosts it?
Whoever you like. I can host it, move it to a host you choose, or leave it where it is. The account stays in your name and you can leave at any point without asking my permission.
