Web developer in Calpe

I live and work in Calpe, so this is the one town where you can put a face to the developer. From the businesses clustered under the Peñón de Ifach to the restaurants along the marina and the shops up in the old town, I build the sites that turn a passing search into a booking.

What trading online in Calpe is really like

Calpe trades on two clocks at once. July and August are frantic and largely tourist-driven, while the winter months lean on a resident population that is heavily Spanish, British, German and Dutch. A site that only speaks to one of those audiences leaves money on the table for half the year, which is why almost every Calpe build I do ships bilingual from day one.

Seasonality is the real design problem in Calpe

Most Calpe sites are built for August and then quietly underperform from October onwards. I structure the homepage so the seasonal offer can change without a developer touching it: summer booking calls to action in season, resident-facing services and winter opening hours out of it. You edit one field, the page reorders itself.

Who I build for in Calpe

  • Restaurants and beach bars around the marina and Arenal
  • Holiday lets and property managers
  • Estate agents working the Ifach and Maryvilla areas
  • Tradespeople and pool maintenance firms
  • Clinics, dentists and physios serving residents

If your business isn't on that list, it doesn't mean I can't help. It means this page was written about Calpe instead of generated from a template. Tell me what you do and I'll tell you straight whether I'm the right person for it.

What clients say about working with Wayne

Every review below is verified on Trustpilot. All of them are five stars.

After a series of bad experiences with other web developers, working with Wayne was a breath of fresh air. He is very responsive and completes work to a high standard. I would not hesitate to recommend SourceCode to anyone.

Wayne is my go-to developer. He is a genius with coding and everything technical. He will always find a way to make everything work seamlessly, no matter how complicated the request. We have worked together on multiple projects over the years.

FAQs

Questions from Calpe businesses

If yours is not here, ask it on the call. You will get a straight answer, including when the answer is no.

4 questions

01Do you really work in Calpe, or just say you cover it?

I'm based in Calpe, which puts Calpe within easy reach, and I've built and looked after sites for businesses across the Marina Alta. If meeting in person matters to you, we can. If it doesn't, most projects run perfectly well over calls and WhatsApp.

02What does a website for a Calpe business cost?

The same as anywhere else. A one-page site starts at €400 and a typical multi-page site is around €800, with bigger custom builds from €3,000. You get a fixed quote in writing before any work starts, so there's no location surcharge and no surprise at the end.

03Can you help if my site was built by someone else?

Yes, and it's a big part of what I do. I take over sites I didn't build, recover access where it's been lost, and either repair what's there or move you onto something you own outright.

04Will the site work in both English and Spanish?

It can, and in Calpe that's often the right call. I build separate language versions with their own URLs instead of bolting on an auto-translation plugin, because search engines treat machine-translated pages as thin content and visitors can tell.

Build a rough quote in ten seconds

Pick what you need and watch the number move. It's an estimate, not a bill. Every project gets a fixed quote in writing before any work starts, and that number doesn't move once we've agreed it.

What changes the number

  • How many pagesA one-page site and a fifteen-page site are different jobs. Most local businesses land somewhere around five.
  • One language or twoA bilingual build is roughly a third more work than a single-language one, and on this coast it usually pays for itself.
  • Whether the content is readyIf you have the words and photos, we move fast. If you need help shaping them, that's time, and it gets quoted.
  • IntegrationsBookings, payments, stock, a CRM or anything that has to talk to software you already use.
  • Moving an existing siteMigrating without losing your Google rankings takes care. It isn't difficult, but it isn't free either.
  • How bespoke the design isAdapting a proven layout costs less than designing every section from scratch. Both are fine; it depends what you need.
