Boomerang Steakhouse: easy to find, and the menu in four languages

The Boomerang Steakhouse website, built by SourceCode

What the site is for

Boomerang has served steaks, ribs and burgers in Calpe since 1985, Monday to Saturday evenings. Its customers are locals and visitors from the UK, Germany and the Netherlands. The website has two jobs: make the restaurant easy to find, and let people read the menu before they come.

What I built

  • A custom WordPress theme made for the restaurant, not an off-the-shelf template
  • Spanish, English, German and Dutch versions, each with its own pages, marked up so Google shows every visitor the one in their language
  • The menu and the house specialities on the homepage
  • Opening hours, the address and a tap-to-call phone number on the first page
  • Real guest reviews alongside the menu

Next case study: Javea Scooters. Or see all the client sites, every one of them live.
