I'm Wayne. I build websites and online shops from €400, fix the ones that aren't working, and write custom software. Fixed prices, and I answer the phone afterwards.
I'm Wayne, an independent web designer and developer in Calpe with around twenty years in the job. I build new websites and online shops, fix the ones that aren't working, and write the custom software some businesses need. You explain it to me, I build it, and I'm the one who answers afterwards.
Not sure you need anything? A free chat costs nothing, by phone or over a coffee in Calpe, with no pitch. Or WhatsApp +34 633 198 142, I usually reply the same day.

A guide to Spain off the beaten path, with places you can search and browse by province.
And the work I can't show. I've also built and looked after websites for schools, charities and hotels in the UK and Spain. Those projects are under confidentiality agreements, so there are no names or screenshots here, but I'm happy to talk about the kind of work involved.
Type in your web address and get a plain-English report in about thirty seconds. Free, and nothing to sign up for.
I only look at what your website shows the public. About the health check
There's no account manager and no salesperson. SourceCode is me: one developer with around twenty years of building websites, online shops and custom systems. The person you explain it to is the person who builds it, and who picks up when you call.
If a cheaper fix will do, I'll say so. If you don't need me at all, I'll tell you that too. A struggling site often needs repairs rather than replacing, so I start with what's actually wrong.

Starting prices for the usual jobs. You get a fixed price in writing before any work starts, and it doesn't move once we've agreed it.
After launch, 2 weeks of fixes are included for anything that doesn't work as it should. Read the full terms.
“Wayne is helpful, knowledgeable and gives a speedy response.”
No stage where you're left wondering what's happening or what it will cost.
A few lines through the form, a WhatsApp or a call. No questionnaire, and no technical words needed.
Within a day: what I'd build, what I wouldn't and why, the price in writing, and when I can start.
You watch it come together on a private link. Once it's paid for, I put it live, hand over the logins, show you how to change things, and I'm still here afterwards.
“Very knowledgeable, accurate and thorough.”
What I need from you: your logo if you have one, some photos (phone photos are fine), your prices and opening hours, and the words for each page. Don't have the words? I can write them for you, quoted separately.
Not every job is a website. These are products of my own, from business systems to free tools and a browser game, built the same way I'd build yours.

If yours isn't here, ask it. You'll get a straight answer, including when the answer is no.
Maybe not. If word of mouth keeps you busy, keep your money. A website helps when people search Google for what you do and find someone else, when visitors want your hours, menu or prices without having to message you, or when you'd like bookings coming in while you're working. If none of that applies to you, I'll say so.
A one-page site starts at €400 and a typical small business site is around €800. Larger custom builds start at €3,000 and online shops at €6,500. Whatever the job, the price is fixed in writing before I start, and the first year of hosting is included. 30% up front to book your slot and start the work, and the rest when it's finished. Once it's paid in full, I hand over every login and put the site live. The upfront part covers the planning and setup, so it isn't refundable if you cancel. You see the plan and the fixed price in writing before you pay anything.
The first year of hosting comes with the build. From the second year, hosting (which keeps the site online) is €100 a year plus IVA with your web address included, or €12 a month plus IVA with the web address paid separately, usually about €10 a year depending on the name. Already have your own hosting and web address? Then there are no hosting or domain fees to pay me. Monthly looking-after is optional: €65, €120 or €220 a month depending on the site, with a set amount of small changes included and two months free if you pay yearly. Skip it and nothing else is billed unless you ask me for a change, which I quote first.
Your logo if you have one, some photos (phone photos are fine), your prices and opening hours, and the words for each page. Don't have the words? I can write them for you, quoted separately before I start. Then some time to look at the site as it comes together and tell me what to change.
Most sites go live in two to four weeks from the point I have your words and photos, and a one-page site can be quicker. The wait is usually for content, not for the build.
You watch it come together on a real link, so you see it long before it's finished and can steer it as we go. After launch, 2 weeks of fixes are included for anything that doesn't work as it should. New wording or design changes after that are quoted first. I can't promise a website will bring you customers, and nobody honestly can, but I'll make sure people searching nearby can find you and reach you in one tap.
Once it's paid for, the site, the web address and every login are in your name, and it's built with standard web technology, so any competent developer could pick it up after me. You're never locked in.
Yes. The things you change often, like wording, prices, opening hours and images, are set up so you can edit them without calling a developer. I show you how before handover, and you keep that access permanently.
That's a large part of my work. I take over sites I didn't build, get you access back where possible, and either repair what's there or move you onto something you own outright. No judgement about the state it's in.
Regularly. My clients are split roughly half and half between Spain and the UK. Everything runs over calls, email and WhatsApp, and being local only matters if you want to meet in person.
Usually, yes, and I'll say so when rebuilding works out cheaper. Plenty of sites that feel beyond saving need a few hours of work, not a fresh start.
A few lines is plenty. I read every message myself and reply with a straight answer, usually the same day, including when the answer is that you don't need me.
Thanks, Wayne
“Fast, efficient and very friendly service.”
